A Bit About Me
My name is Tracy Shadbolt. I live in the lovely quiet township of Beverford near Swan Hill in Northern Victoria on a large scale vegetable growing property with my incredible husband of 30 years. I am the mother of 3 amazing (now adult )children. I have a love for reading, gardening, bush walking, cavoodle dogs, staying fit and healthy and helping others do the same, and spending quality time with those nearest and dearest to me.
I studied Nursing in my 20’s and worked as an RN for 5 years before becoming a full time mum. I completed Remedial Massage training in 2007 specialising in Oncology Massage. I have always had a love for nature and appreciation for the human body how it has been created and how it functions so intricately and intelligently, alongside a curiosity for the healing power of nature which led me to study Naturopathy in 2015. This study opportunity also came about in my life after I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of endometrial cancer (uterine cancer) and being faced with many treatment options – it was during this very scary time that I felt led to go down the natural pathway and stay true to my belief’s – a decision I am so glad I made because as I journeyed along I found a lot of answers to my questions and was able to implement many wonderful evidence based treatments and lifestyle options to enhance my bodys own incredible healing ability.
I completed my studies in 2019, got the all clear from my very caring specialists and started my own business Eden Natural Health all around the same time !
Through my studies Ive really developed a passion to serve others and journey with them through their health concerns with a large focus on preventative care. I believe that when you go through something in your life whatever that may be, it grows and stretches you and prepares you for your future – my passion now is to help others the same way I have been helped especially those who have been diagnosed with cancer through support and education, working with the individual through a patient centered integrative approach with the patients Doctors, Oncologists and support people – with the aim to do no harm. My focus of treatment with someone on the cancer journey is not to cure their cancer or disease but to allow the body the best opportunity to heal itself through nutrition education, herbal and nutritional supplements, lifestyle changes and emotional healing.
Naturopathy is the celebration of simplicity with the promotion of fresh air, clean water, adequate rest, nutritious food and the use of evidence based herbal remedies and supplements to assist with the body’s self healing process.
I look forward to you joining me on your path to wellness.
xx
